My research interests focus on regional and transport economics, political economy, and tourism studies.
Emphasis is on impact assessment of place-based policies
My research is mainly characterized by an interdisciplinary approach between economic geography, political economy, and economic policy issues
The scale of my analyses ranges from local to supranational. I prefer to use set of data at the municipal (LAU 2) and provincial (NUTS 3) level, with the aim to quantify the effects of publicly funded programs and initiatives at a given territorial scale
